Mules

We have 8 mules consisting of four teams.  Agnes and Ada are 15 and 16 years old.  They are Amish bred & broke and have been together their whole lives. Bell and Bonnie are 5 and 6 years old, full sisters, professionally trained and have worked together their whole lives. Mathew and Roy are 7 and 8 years old, half brothers, professionally trained and have also worked together their whole lives. Judy and Jane are 13 and 14 years old and have been professionally trained.  They were newly acquired from a rancher in Iowa.

Three of the teams are parade safe and have marched in parades in downtown Frisco.

Sleighs

We have 3 sleighs – all of which are handcrafted and were fashioned after what sleighs and wagons were actually like in the 1850’s.  Two of the sleighs are 23 years old and one is 8 years old.  They are solid red oak top to bottom with the exception of the bolsters on the two older sleighs which are made from purple heart wood - one of the five hardest woods in the world. The skis are turned red oak with steel runners.  The sleighs can be converted to wagons within hours.  The wagon axles are custom made from steel axles on 13 inch radial tires with hydraulic brakes. Our sleighs can comfortably seat 14 average size adults.
